The Alliance area is home to one of the oldest
newspapers in Ohio.
The Alliance Review, located at 40 S. Linden Ave, was
founded in 1888 and is part of the Dix Communications
Group. The Review is published Monday through Saturday
and provides the Alliance community local, national and
international coverage including the best local sports
coverage from its award-winning staff.
The Review launched its new Web site in the last year to
better serve its readers. The Web site is www.the-review.
com and allows an interactive forum between users and
staff members. Visitors can also be linked with classified
ads along with OhioAutoFinder, The Job Network and
Associated Press articles and videos.
The new site allows users to browse through archived
articles and photos and a breaking news section at the top
will keep readers updated on daily happenings within the
Alliance community, state and world.

Radio stations in the Alliance area are WCER, WDPN,
WZKL, and WQXK.
WDPN (1310 AM) and WZKL (92.5 FM) offer easy
listening programming and a variety of modern music,
respectively. WDPN also features high school sports
coverage and Mount Union football. Both stations are

WCER (900 AM) is located at 4537 22nd Street N.W. in
Canton and offers Christian radio, sports and commentary.

Youngstown, WQXK (105.1) features the best of country

The Alliance area is home to two television stations.
WDLI is a member of the Trinity Broadcasting Network
while WNEO is a public broadcasting station located in
Kent, Ohio.
On the local cable system, Time Warner Cable Channel
11 provides local and community programming.
