AKRON-CANTON AIRPORT

minutes travel time, via U.S. 62 to I-77. Commercial service

13820 Union Ave. N.E., Alliance, (three miles north of Alliance
on State Route 225). Owned by Forrest and Pat Barber. Local
commercial class III General Aviation Airport (2DI), offering
aircraft rental, airplane and helicopter instruction, aerial photos,
and a full maintenance facility. The following businesses are
located at the airport: Barber Aircraft, a fixed base operator which
maintains seven hangers with the capacity to accommodate 30
based aircraft; and Ohio Airships, Inc. (www.dynalifter.com).
