Carnation Child Care Center -- 1840 W. State St., (330) 823-0000. Cathy Miller, director. Full- and part-time services for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., weekdays, 5:30a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Children's Village -- 975 Commonwealth Ave., (330) 821-9710; Tracy Baxter-Berner, director. Full- and part-time services for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Hours: 6 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weekdays.
Fellowship Baptist Church -- 18320 Fifth St., Beloit, (330) 938-3191. Maxine White, administrator. Full-time services for children ages 2 through kindergarten. Hours: 6 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays.
First Baptist Nursery School and Child Care Center -- 1659 W. State St., (330) 823-3118. Janet Wise, director. Full- and part-time services for toddlers to kindergarten. Hours: 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekdays.
First United Presbyterian Preschool -- 425 E. Market St., (330) 821-5655. Andrea Altenhof, director. Part-time services for children 3 to 5 years of age. Hours: 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., weekdays.
Franklin Head Start -- 321 Franklin St., (330) 821-5977. Jocelyn Barnett, site supervisor. Full- and part-time services for children 3 to 5 years of age. Full-time hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. Part-time hours: 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Offers center base and full day care.
Interfaith Child Development Center -- located at Christ United Methodist Church west entrance, 470 E. Broadway St., (330) 821-1377. Laurie Porter, director. Fees are calculated according to a sliding scale which is dependent upon parental income. United Way affiliate. Full-time services for toilet-trained children 2 1/2 to 6 years of age. Hours: 5:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekdays.
Precious Cargo Day Care, Preschool and Kindergarten -- 1120 N. Johnson Road, Sebring, (330) 938-1120. Melanie Brain, director. Full-, part-time and preschool services for children 18 months to 6 years of age; during summer, services available for school children. Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., weekdays.
